The guest house is located near the quaint village of Keokea. Settled by Chinese immigrants in the 1840's, Keokea still maintains its adopted cultural roots. A point of interest is the Episcopal Church built in 1907 by the Rev.Shim Yin Chin. Another historically interesting building is called the Kwock Hing Society building. The town of Keokea consists of Grandma's restaurant, Keokea Gallery, Fong Store and Ching Store. Grandma's restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. The Keokea Gallery features Sheldon Wallau's works of art, a must see and Fong store is a mom and pop with a varied selection of items. Ching store sells flowers and has the cheapest gas on the island.
